The project

A former coffee warehouse adapted for office use and extended upwards.

This warehouse conversion retains many historic features while creating offices, including basement accommodation and an additional floor above.

Planning constraints limited the depth of the new steelwork. A lightweight structural solution reduces the extra load carried by the existing cast-iron frame.
